BIOGRAPHY
April Chaney is an entrepreneur and celebrity makeup artist based in Los Angeles, CA. With a career spanning over 15 years, April is a skilled professional, whose artistry, talent and depth of experience is unmatched in the beauty industry.April is known for creating beautiful makeup transformations that enhance the beauty of her clients. In 2008, April began assisting Heather Currie and Collier Strong from the prestigious Cloutier Agency, as well as Gucci Westman from Art + Commerce . Her work with them has appeared in O Magazine, on Entertainment Tonight, seasonal editorials for the GAP, promos & editorials for the Real Housewives of Orange County and in numerous other TV shows, films, commercials, magazine editorials and on the runway in fashion shows. In January of 2010 April even had the opportunity to work side by side with her mentor Collier Strong on a Makeover show on OPRAH.In her distinguished retail career, April worked with numerous cosmetic companies, including NARS, Laura Mercier, MAC, Giorgio Armani Beauty, and Dolce and Gabbana Makeup. With her knowledge of the cosmetic industry and years of hands-on experience, April is poised to take the cosmetics industry by storm with her latest creation, LirpaMakeup L.A.
